Online Book Store

I am an avid reader and one of my favourite resources for new books is the Amazon.com online book store. Amazon is an excellent place to browse for a new book. Along will millions of books, Amazon also offers tons of movies, games and even household items, amongst many other items available for purchase. However, the only thing I'm really interested in purchasing is books.

I've tried using a few other online book stores, however, I find Amazon to be the best-suited to my needs. Whenever I get a new book, I immediately go to my Amazon account and enter the book into my account. Then, once I've read it, I go back and rate the book. The reason I do this is that the Amazon book store will automatically generate recommendations based on the information that you log. I have received some very excellent recommendations by using this tool on the Amazon online book store.

Virtually any book you may seek is available on the Amazon online book store. Amazon offers hardcover and paperback editions and a variety of pricing options as well. I find their online book store to be more flexible and user friendly, than even shopping in person at a local book store.

If you really enjoy a particular book, you can also find similar titles by searching other user's book lists. These lists are all hosted on the Amazon online book store as well. Many times I've enjoyed a particular book and then found one or more similarly written choices to add to my own reading list. Amazon's online book store makes it easy to keep track of your reading history and also allows you to keep records of books you look forward to reading by assembling a Wish List. You can allow friends and family to access this list as well - again, all available through the Amazon online book store.

I have made many purchases from the Amazon online book store. They also have Canadian and UK sites, as subsidiaries to the regular Amazon online book store. However, I find that the site located at Amazon.com offers the most choices and options and this is the place I regularly visit when looking for a new book. I don't always purchase directly from the Amazon online book store. Sometimes I just use the recommendations tool to add books to my Wishlist and then purchase the books I am seeking in a used book store. That's not to say that I don't purchase from the Amazon online book store as well, though. But the good thing about Amazon online book store is that you are never forced to purchase anything. The site is very user friendly and a highly recommended resource for anyone looking for a book to read.
